Our new DirectLaw web service offers a hosted solution to solos and small law firms that enables them to offer legal services on-line without a large capital investment.

We have developed over 400 individual award-winning solutions (including Wills, Divorce and Employment), and work with our network of highly respected legal call centers and institutions throughout the United States and the UK.

Rapidocs

We have achieved high levels of standardization and accessibility by developing our own document automation technology, called Rapidocs®, which is now in its third generation. Rapidocs is fast becoming the industry standard having been adopted by leading international legal publishers, corporate legal departments and law firms. Rapidocs 4.0, our web solution, that operates completely within the web browser was released on December 1, 2008.

Digital Legal Solutions

Epoq's "web-enabled digital legal solutions" are software applications distributed over the Web, enabling a user to solve a legal problem without the assistance of an attorney or with limited assistance from an attorney.

Examples of "digital legal solutions" are:

  • automated document assembly systems -- our primary product line;

  • web-based legal advisors;

  • intelligent calculators;

  • intelligent knowledge management systems; and

  • intelligent preventive law checklists.

    A "digital legal solution" can provide a low-cost and efficient means of solving a legal problem without human assistance or it can be used to leverage the skills of an attorney or paralegal by increasing productivity and lower costs.  Digital legal solutions also increase access to the legal system for individuals who cannot afford the full legal services of an attorney.

    Together with Epoq in the UK, our award-winning technology now supports the delivery of digital legal solutions to over 1 million subscribers worldwide.

Radical changes are afoot in the legal services industry, both in the U.S. and in the U.K.  In the US, the self-help market for digital legal solutions is growing at a rapid pace and law firms, both large and small, are searching for new, cost-effective ways to deliver legal services to their clients.  Corporate legal departments are also searching for new ways to deliver legal services as a means to cut costs and increase productivity within the framework of reduced budgets.  U.S. banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions are also searching for ways to offering legal solutions as an added value for their customers.
